Download · Beta 4

Here it is.

OOMU Beta 4 (Breezy Wizard) is a native Mac app for Apple Silicon. Download it, drag it to Applications, and open it. No card, no account, no API key, and no sales call. If you later connect a cloud AI provider, that provider bills you for what you use.

Or install via Homebrew
brew install --cask oomu-ai/tap/oomu

Apple Silicon · Version 0.4.2 · 85 MB · Signed & notarized · Free to use, including at work

Requirements

What you need to run it.

  • A Mac with Apple Silicon, M1 or later OOMU is a native Apple Silicon app. It does not run on Intel Macs, and we would rather tell you that here than let you find out after the download.
  • 8 GB of memory, and more is better The local model runs in memory you already have.
  • About 6 GB of free disk space The installer is small. Setup fetches the model for your Mac (about 4 GB on an 8 GB machine; the larger Gemma 4 E4B above that), verifies it against an embedded manifest, or lets you point at a copy you already have.

OOMU is signed and notarized, so macOS lets it through without a detour into System Settings.

Download it, drag it to Applications, open it. Your everyday work runs on your own Mac, and it asks before it acts.

The deal

Free to use. Take it to work.

OOMU is free to download and free to use, and that includes using it for your job or for your clients. Complete, not crippled, and the license is on screen in full rather than behind a link you are expected not to open.

Money changes hands when an organization wants to govern OOMU centrally, which is a different thing from a person doing their work with it. That part is called OOMU Control, and it is the part that pays for this page.
